Review: Huset mittemot
I know, this book is for young adults. But you can also enjoy it if you are a bit (or a lot) older.
The main character Joel is 13 years old and the book is mostly written from his perspective. It takes some time before the story really begins, but that is no problem because the first part reminds you again of what you had to deal with as a young boy and is sometimes very hilarious.
Then it gets exciting and pretty soon it turns serious. And it is actually this part I like best. Joel is being swept away by the events and it is totally believable and also leads somewhere. I had a hard time putting down this book.
