I must admit that the start of the book did not really work for me and that I had some doubt if this book was going to be for me. But pretty soon it turned out that there was a lot more than just plain superficial characters looking for sex or having a fetish.
And then it was very hard to put down.
This is a story about knowing who you are, what you like. About defiance and acceptance. Friendship and family. That sounds pretty big. And it is. But Sara Lövestam breaks it down to little understandable pieces and that works very well. The prose is very light and witty. The characters totally believable (though somewhat different).
If you would like to try something different, I can really recommend this book.
